Ajith Kumar, also known as ‘Thala Ajith,’ is one of the popular actors in the Tamil film industry. Ajith is known for his love for bikes. In 2021, the actor embarked on his long-planned cross-country road trip on his motorcycle. Apart from riding through the length and breadth of India, the actor also managed to ride in Nepal, Bhutan, and even some parts of Europe. He has planned a world road trip on his motorcycle. During his ride in Nepal, his fellow rider organized the itinerary, and Ajith was so happy with the experience that he decided to gift his fellow rider a BMW bike worth Rs 12 lakh.
After receiving the gift, Sugat Satpathy wrote, “After a long time, life seems to have meaning. At the end of the same year, I got incredibly lucky. I would say I felt privileged to get in touch with Mr. Ajith Kumar #ajithkumar, who is one of the biggest superstars in the Tamil movie industry. He is also an avid biker who rides an Adventure bike with pure class.

Later, I organized a complete North-east tour for him and rode with him on my trustworthy, years-old Duke 390. Following the ride, he promised to do one more tour of Nepal and Bhutan with me as part of his world tour plan, which we recently completed on May 6th. Throughout the ride, we created many unforgettable memories, covered incredible miles, and witnessed many beautiful sunsets and sunrises. They say you meet the nicest people on a motorcycle, and I’d say I met the best possible human being. Regardless of the fame he has, I was star-struck by his humbleness and happy-go-lucky aura. There’s a simple man behind the superstar who is willing to live life in a larger way! And by larger, I don’t mean luxury, but peace of mind.

Sugat wrote this long post on Instagram, along with pictures of him with the actor and images of his new BMW motorcycle. Ajith Kumar also uses a BMW R 1250 GS adventure tourer motorcycle. The actor has inspired many people and introduced them to motorcycling. Malayalam actress Manju Warrier is one such person. She recently obtained her two-wheeler license and also acquired a BMW adventure bike. The actor gifted Sugat a BMW F850 GS adventure motorcycle. The F850 GS motorcycle features an 853-cc, parallel-twin engine that generates 93 Bhp and 92 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Ajith Kumar himself rides a BMW R 1250 GS adventure motorcycle, which is powered by a 1245-cc engine that generates 134 Bhp and 143 Nm of peak torque. The price for this motorcycle now starts at around Rs 22.5 lakh, ex-showroom.
