The Nissan GT-R is one of the most legendary performance cars out there, with its twin-turbo V6, all-wheel drive, and incredible dynamics that combine to create a driving experience that has remained one of the world’s best for over a decade. Going into the 2024 model year, Nissan has announced improvements and new specs for the sports car icon, and fans of the GT-R, as well as its many equally honored predecessors, have lots to be excited about.
All versions of the GT-R get revised bodywork for 2024, adding downforce and reducing drag, however, the NISMO version gets the most exciting upgrade with a swan-neck-style wing inspired by motorsport, with a larger surface area by 10% for increased downforce, as well as a front limited-slip differential for even greater driving dynamics. The 2024 Nissan GT-R also brings back the special T-spec Edition, which sits in between the Premium and NISMO models, being offered in low volume with NISMO carbon ceramic brakes, gold RAYS wheels, a Mori Green interior, and most importantly, two well-loved heritage colors. They are Midnight Purple and Millenium Jade.
Also announced for 2024 is a new NISMO appearance package, consisting of exclusive RAYS wheels, a carbon fiber hood with a unique clear coat, and an exclusive engine cover. The 2024 Nissan GT-R starts at $120,990, while the T-spec starts at $140,990, and the NISMO starts at $220,990. Even today, Godzilla still remains one of the most impressive Japanese performance cars and one of the most impressive performance machine in the entire world.
