The South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor India, produces some of the most popular cars in the country, one of which is its hatchback Grand i10 Nios. The company recently launched the updated version of this hatchback in January of this year and soon after that, it also launched the updated version of the Aura. Both cars received design revisions on the exterior, but a digital artist has recently created a render of the Grand i10 Nios and showed us what it could have looked like. This render can also be seen as a possible design for the future generation of this popular hatchback.

The video of the digital rendering of this Hyundai Grand i10 has been shared on YouTube via one of the most popular digital artists in India, SRK Designs, known for creating renders of upcoming cars. In this particular render of the Grand i10 Nios, the artist has given the hatchback an extremely futuristic design on the front, with an aggressive front fascia. The artist has completely changed the bumper of the existing hatchback, adding sharper cuts and creases, and made the overall body lines of the hatchback much sharper, giving it a sportier look than the bulbous design of the outgoing car. The front grille has also been significantly revamped, with a massive opening and elements finished off with LED DRLs.

The fog lamps appear to be inspired by the new i20, but they also boast an air vent just above them. The lower portion of the bumper has also been made more aggressive and now houses an air vent that has been split into two. Additionally, the headlights have been made smaller and sharper, with four round LED DRLs, and the bonnet features much sharper body lines. The side profile of the car has also been tweaked, featuring an all-new design of diamond-cut alloy wheels with low profile tyres. However, the video does not include any renders of the car from the rear.

As mentioned, the company launched the facelifted iteration of the Grand i10 Nios in January of this year to take on the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Tata Tiago in the Indian market. Apart from the updated exterior, the car also received a host of updates, including new grey upholstery for the seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and ambient lighting. Hyundai also added premium touches by adding metal finishes on the inside of the door handles.

The new Grand i10 continues to be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine, generating a maximum power of 82 Bhp and a peak torque of 114 Nm. Hyundai will also offer a CNG version of the Grand i10 Nios, with the same engine producing a maximum power of 68 Bhp and a peak torque of 95 Nm. Hyundai will have an AMT automatic transmission with the updated model, while all variants will come with a five-speed manual transmission as standard. The AMT model will be equipped with hill-start assist as standard. The manual transmission offers a maximum fuel efficiency of 20.7 km/l, while with AMT, it returns a maximum of 20.1 km/l.
