McLaren is all set to replace the 720S with a new mid-engine supercar. The new model is expected to be called the McLaren 750S. Sources have now revealed that the official unveiling could be held on April 26, 2023.

The McLaren 750S will be more like a 720S facelift than a totally new car. Rumours suggest it will get a revised front and a redesigned rear fascia inspired by the McLaren 765LT. Inside, the 750S will offer Apple CarPlay connectivity but is likely to miss out on the retractable instrument console.

The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine is said to have been retained. However, the engine produces even more power than before. The 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission has been tweaked. It now comes with shorter gear ratios, thus improving acceleration at the cost of top speed.
