Jeff Koons is an American artist best known for his sculpture work. His pieces are often brightly colored and attention-grabbing, and his latest collaboration is no different. Koons teamed up with BMW to produce 99 special variants of its M850i Grand Coupe, with one being auctioned for charity.
The car itself is mechanically a 2023 M850i. However, it sports a cartoon-style exterior with various graphics and colors. Inside, it’s perhaps even brighter, combining a blue and red leather interior. Koons stated during this car’s release that he enjoys bringing others along with him, so all 99 units of this limited run feature four doors instead of the 8’s standard coupe body style.
The vehicle featured today is essentially brand new, with just 16 miles on the clock. When new, this unique Jeff Koons collaboration came with a $350,995 starting price, making it over three times more expensive than a standard 8 Series. But then again, art cars are nothing new for BMW, and this particular run combines various historic BMW shades with its cartoon graphics.
