Over the past five years, the Indian market has witnessed a growing interest in high-performance exotic cars, with brands like Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Ferrari officially offering their cars in the country. The latest addition to this list is McLaren, which announced its official entry into the Indian market a year ago and recently inaugurated its first dealership in Mumbai. During the inauguration ceremony, the brand unveiled its flagship supercar, the McLaren 765 LT, which is one of the most expensive supercars officially available for sale in India. McLaren has already found its first customer, a Hyderabad-based businessman, who recently took delivery of the car.
The video showcasing the newly purchased McLaren 765 LT Spider has been shared by naseer_khan0054. McLaren is represented in India by the Infinity group and offers its entire portfolio in the country, including the GT, Artura, 720S, 720S Spider, 765 LT, and 765 LT Spider. Naseer Khan’s purchase of the McLaren 765 LT Spider makes him the probable first customer of this model in India. He chose the MSO Volcano Red shade, which gives the supercar a sporty and stylish look.

It is not confirmed whether Naseer opted for any customizations for his car. This supercar is unique in many ways, boasting of being one of the fastest convertibles that McLaren has ever produced. It features an aerodynamic design similar to the coupe version and is constructed entirely of carbon fiber. The front bumper, splitter, side skirts, and wraparound rear bumper are all more aggressive than in coupe version. As this is a convertible version, the roof folds down in just 11 seconds, adding to the car’s allure.
After buying the McLaren 765 LT supercar, Naseer Khan even organised a meetup for people who follow him on social media platforms. Almost 1,000 people gathered to get a closer look at the most expensive supercar of India. Although the exact price of the McLaren 765 LT is unknown, it is expected to cost around Rs. 12 crore, ex-showroom. The production of the McLaren 765 LT is limited to only 765 units, making it more exclusive than any other supercar in India. The McLaren 765 LT Spider is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine that produces 765 Ps and 800 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 7-speed sequential gearbox, and all the power is sent to the rear wheels. McLaren has been a popular brand among car enthusiasts in India for a long time, but they never officially sold their models in India until recently.
Many car enthusiasts who can afford to buy a supercar like McLaren have imported them to India in the past. While the McLaren delivered to Naseer Khan is the first 765 LT Spider, it is not the first McLaren supercar officially delivered to a customer in India. McLaren had announced its official entry into the Indian market a year ago, and around that time, they delivered the 720S Spider to a West Bengal based businessman, Parveen Agarwal.
Returning to Naseer Khan, the McLaren 765 LT Spider is not his first supercar. He already owns several high-end cars, including a Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge, a Ferrari 812 Superfast, a Mercedes-Benz G350d, a Ford Mustang, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Lamborghini Urus, and many more expensive cars in his garage.
