With a reveal set to take place at the Auto Shanghai show on April 18, the new and transformed 2024 Porsche Cayenne is very much on the horizon, and Porsche has shown off the futuristic interior of the new Cayenne, which takes inspiration from other Porsche models like the 911 and Taycan and modernizes the Cayenne, which after 20 years of being one of Porsche’s most popular models is quickly becoming a Porsche classic in its own right. With added technology and revised design, the new Cayenne will continue building its already-celebrated legacy as one of Porsche’s most important models.
The first noticeable change is a dashboard full of screens, with a standalone curved instrument display for the driver, and screens for infotainment both in the middle and on the passenger side. In addition, a new steering wheel for the Cayenne matches the latest Porsche 911. Porsche also relocated the gear selector in the new Cayenne, bringing it to the dashboard to the right of the steering wheel. This position is not only convenient, but it allows for increased space in the center console for an in-depth air conditioning control center. This small preview of the interior of the Porsche Cayenne already demonstrates just how exciting the new generation of Porsche’s SUV icon will be.
