The luxury rookie shocks the electric SUV market.

Genesis has, despite being quite new as a brand in the luxury automotive space, been proving itself as a worthy competitor to many of the world’s most established luxury brands, whether that be through its sedans, SUVs, or now, electric vehicles. Genesis has recently revealed its third electric vehicle in its lineup, the Electrified GV70, the battery-electric version of its celebrated compact luxury SUV. For the first time in the brand’s history, the new model will be assembled in the U.S. instead of South Korea. The brand has now announced pricing for the model and combining luxury with futuristic technology and modern, expressive style, the new luxury SUV starts at $65,850.

The starting MSRP is for the vehicle’s Advanced trim level, which features luxury appointments like leather upholstery, 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, wireless device charging, and more. The car comes with dual-motor all-wheel drive for confident, powerful electric driving. Also available is the $72,650 Prestige trim, which includes Nappa leather seating, a 12.3-inch digital 3D instrument cluster, heated rear seats and steering wheel, a Lexicon audio system, and rear window shades. With luxury, style, and electric power, the new Genesis Electrified GV70 is ready to be the future of luxury SUVs.
